FEVE (fluorinated ethylene and vinyl ether
copolymer) is a paint of fluoropolymer.
Fluoropolymer paint has the best resistances of weather, stain, mildew,
and corrosion.
§ 1. Products:
2k enamel fluoro-urethane paint kits of MiracleCoat® are supplied. The
fluoro-urethane 2K kits consists of functional fluoropolymer resin part,
and aliphatic polyurethane cross-linker. Pour cross-linker into functional fluoropolymer resin solution,
add acetone, and shaking to 20 times to
form fluoro-urethane mixture. Then one can pour fluoro-urethane mixture into a
container of spray gun or a container for brush painting. Follow spray gun
painting or brush paint common methods to paint the 2k fluoro-urethane mixture.
2K fluoro-urethane paint will cured to form enamel in ambient temperature about
4 hours after the solvent evaporated.
The functional fluoropolymer resin part contains hydroxyl functional FEVE
fluoropolymer resin, catalysts, pigments (if color is required), nanometer
functional perfluoropolymer additive, and solvent. Polyurethane cross-linker
contains aliphatic polyurethane cross-linker and solvent. Acetone extends initiation period and avoid cross-linking reactions before
the solvents evaporation. Before the majority evaporation of the solvent the
catalyst will not active, that guarantee the fluoro-urethane mixture will not
solidify in the spray gun container and passageway.
Functional fluoropolymer resin solution and aliphatic polyurethane
cross-linker also supplied in gallon quantities.

§ 3. Special Application Samples - Bathtub coatings:
Luxe-color®
2010 transparent fluorinated urethane contains perfluoropolymer nano particles.
Those nano-particles distributed on the surfaces of fluoro-urethane matrixes
that perform self-cleaning surfaces function. The self-cleaning ability of
Luxe-color®2010 coatings have been proven around five
hundreds bathtubs of several hotels, such as Hampton Inn in Tech Downtown, Atlanta, GA,
Hampton Inn in Peachtree Center of Atlanta, GA, Hampton Inn at Hollywood, Florida,
and Hampton Inn in Atlanta Newnan, GA. Those self cleaning surfaces of bathtubs mimic
the structures of lotus leaves. Water washes all dust off the surfaces. Try use
any self-cleaning bathtub and experience yourself! Remember: lotus leaves repels
dust particles, but the self-cleaning ability will lost if they are wetted by
surfactants. (soap, detergent, etc.) However, our Luxe-color® coated surfaces will
keep the self-cleaning ability regardless the presence of surfactants.
