Fluonova Inc provides fluoro-urethane sealers for variety applications:

Granite Sealer: FS4100: FS4100 seal capillaries of granite surfaces. Granite has excellent chemical stabilities and mechanical strength, however, if the surfaces of granite are not protected by sealer, capillaries on granite surfaces absorbs oil, grease, and water.  Microbial will grow in the capillaries.

Sealers made from hydrocarbon polymers are known for seal stone. However, all of those sealers contain germicides. Because microbial will eat hydrocarbon polymers, germicides are necessary ingredient for preserve hydrocarbon polymer from spoil by microbial. The germicides are leached out by contact with water and oil. Germicides are unsafe. They are dangerous when contact with food.

Fluoropolymers are un-digestible by microbial. All fluoropolymers are synthesized, there is no fluoropolymer in Nature, therfore, microbial have no code for digest fluoropolymers. No germicide are required for preserve fluoropolymers.  All fluoropolymers repel water. Microbial or germs cannot grow on the surfaces with water repellent property. A sealer made from fluoropolymers are microbial resistant without any germicide.

Sealers made from hydrocarbon polymers do not repel oil or grease. For obtain oil or grease repellent properties, either fluoropolymers or silicone are required. However, silicone is lack of mechanical strength, and not solvent or chemical resistant. For example, acetic acid, citric acid or baking soda will attack silicone. Previous PFOS and PFOA are used as ingredient for water and oil repellent sealers. PFOS and PFOA are small molecules. PFOS and PFOA are bio-accumulative and dangerous carcinogen. Only fluoropolymers without PFOA or PFOS are the best for sealer application.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, Teflon), or the copolymers of tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene have the best oil and grease repellent properties. However, they require high temperature to form continuous films to seal the surfaces. The only fluoropolymer that can form continuous fims under ambient temperature is the copolymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene and vinyl ether (FEVE).

2k FEVE fluoropolymer urethane forms permanent sealing to protect sealed surfaces against broad varieties of chemicals, solvents, and microbial. The sealer series are the fluoropolymers with functional groups which react form strong chemical bonds with surface materials to form seal.

Fluonova Inc. provides 2k FEVE fluoro-urethane sealers which provides cross-linking ability under ambient temperature, and bond to metals, alloys, stone, rubber, and most plastics.

The water dispersible sealer forms bond with calcium ions and seals capillary on the surface material and form barrier preventing water, stains, and microbial penetrating into the capillary. The surfaces become stain resistant.

The functional perfluoropolymer resists water and chemicals, and microbial. Sealing performance of functional perfluoropolymer are un-reachable by any non-fluorinated polymers, such as acrylic, epoxy, polyester, and silicone.
